The Vertex Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry through a hands-on experience as well as mentoring and coaching from Vertex managers. Our program provides developmental opportunities for students who are interested in learning side-by-side with some of the most talented in the industry.

Help shape the future of Vertex
As a part of the Vertex Co-op Program, you will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Students can expect to be challenged by their projects, connect with other co-ops, and feel valued by the Vertex community. Co-ops learn about their day-to-day tasks through their specific work assignments and interact and gain exposure to our organizational leaders and their teams through a series of Professional Development Workshops.

What you bring:

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate/advanced degree program at the time of your internship

A passion for learning and contributing to multiple facets of a project

Detail oriented, organized and able to manage multiple tasks

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact cross-functionally with multiple team members

- October – December 2024: Interviews conducted

- June 2025: Co-op concludes

- February 2025: Co-op positions posted
- February – May 2025: Interviews conducted
- July 2025: Co-op begins
- December 2025: Co-op concludes
